TotalNtertainment goes Behind The Scenes at Cirque Du Soleil’s Luzia.
On March 14th 2020, the worldwide phenomenon that is Cirque Du Soleil announced that it was suspending all shows worldwide with immediate effect in the wake of the ongoing pandemic. From London to Las Vegas to Melbourne, the curtain came down on the magical show and has remained down for almost two years.
Now, in time for its twenty-fifth anniversary, Cirque Du Soleil comes to life again on January 12th 2022 as the magical world of Luzia returns to the equally magical Royal Albert Hall in London.
Running from January 12th to February 27th, Luzia will take you to an imaginary Mexico where light (“luz” in Spanish) quenches the spirit and rain (“Lluvia”) soothes the soul, all to a dazzling spectacle of music, colour and acrobatics.
Ahead of the return, TotalNtertainment was given an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour as artists and crew came back together to prepare for the show. Speaking to artists and staff of the show, it is clear they are as excited about the return of Luzia and the chance to perform in front of fans again.
