Stars of ITV Britain’s Got Talent 2018 BRING IT NORTH will perform their first ever major support slots this year when they open for multi-million selling global superstars Il Divo – including their show at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Saturday July 21.
Bring It North, the mini-group who won the hearts of the nation, made the semi-finals of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent performing ‘A Million Dreams’ from The Greatest Showman. Their performances wowed the judges, with Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden calling them “absolutely incredible.”
The five youngsters, aged between 10 and 12-years-old, are drawn from all corners of the north of England and were put together earlier this year by a music teacher, after auditioning along with 500 other hopefuls.
Bring It North will now tour the UK with Il Divo and tickets for their Scarborough OAT show are available now at www.ticketmaster.co.uk
Peter Taylor, Director of Scarborough OAT concert promters Cuffe & Taylor, said: “We’re so pleased to have Bring It North open the proceedings for Il Divo at Scarborough OAT. We’ve been overwhelmed by their talent at such a young age. They’ve won the hearts of the nation and we can’t wait for them to win the hearts of our audience here in Scarborough too.”
Il Divo, who have been making music together for more than a decade, are tenor Urs Buhler (Switzerland), baritone Carlos Marin (Spain), pop artist Sébastien Izambard (France) and tenor David Miller (USA).
They have sold more than 30 million albums, achieved more than 50 number one records worldwide, received 160 gold and platinum sales awards and staged four ground-breaking world tours.
Il Divo’s show at Scarborough OAT – Europe’s largest open-air theatre – is among the group’s first UK dates since their 2016 Amor & Pasión World Tour which played to sell-out crowds at arenas around the globe.
