‘Worse’ the new single from New Hope Club released today via Virgin EMI
The pulsating and hypnotic Worse continues to build the band’s signature sound and showcases their smooth harmonies. The track received its first radio play on Scott Mills’ BBC Radio 1 show on Friday, and another on Mollie King & Matt Edmondson’s BBC Radio 1 show on Saturday. Worse was also added straight into Apple Music’s ‘New In Pop’ playlist, and Amazon Music’s ‘Brand New Music’ playlist.
The accompanying “short film” music video was shot during the group’s recent US promo tour, and is directed by actress Bailee Madison (Just Go With It, Wizards Of Waverly Place). It features a slew of stars including dancer, actress and model Maddie Ziegler, actress and influencer Alexa Losey, actress Robyn Lively and her actor husband Bart Johnson, former High School Musical star, and lots more.
The video time travels through different eras including the 60’s, 70’s 80’s and 90’s and sees the band and cast recreating iconic fashion looks from each decade. In the run up to the music video premiere on YouTube, the band each dressed up from one of the decades depicted in the video and joined fans on Instagram Live to take photos, and for a virtual red carpet!
