Using dark magic to bring the misdeeds of men to light, VENUS GRRRLS aren’t holding back this Halloween. Drawing on a negative encounter the band shared together which became the catalyst for the song, Hex unapologetically speaks out against the far too common experience of harassment. Whilst demanding the antagonist faces the consequences of his actions, the Grrrls seek to encourage victims of such incidents to reclaim their power and call out these harmful behaviours.

2023 saw VENUS GRRRLS return with searing singles ‘Lidocaine’ and ‘Liar Liar”, reflecting on GK’s recovery from Leukaemia. Achieving 2 Spotify editorial covers (Shockwave and Fresh Finds: UK & IE) and further Spotify editorial playlists (New Music Friday UK, Fresh Finds, The Locker, All New Rock, Hot New Bands, Fresh Finds: Rock), and Breakthrough Rock and Fresh Rock on Amazon Music as well as national radio play on BBC Radio 1 from Jack Saunders, Alyx Holcombe and as Nels Hylton’s Future Flavour, Track of the Week from BBC Radio Tees, plays from BBC Introducing West Yorkshire and BBC Radio Newcastle, Radio X from John Kennedy, and making the Amazing Radio A list.
