“Breakthrough artist” with a “storytelling soul”, Twinnie will release her four-track EP Welcome To The Club on Friday 3RD June, delivering a crucial message of inclusivity, self-love, self-confidence and acceptance for all. “Creating a safe space for fans to be themselves”, Twinnie’s upcoming full collection of songs along with their accompanying music videos will combine to create a stand-alone film. Depicting an emotional story, the project explores the different emotions we all go through, from feeling like an outsider and hiding our true feelings to embracing ourselves and accepting each other for who we are.
Penned by Twinnie with Jamie Kennedy, “Dying Inside” revisits a lost relationship, spotlighting the lie that you need to put on a show and smile through your pain. A devoted mental health advocate, Twinnie brought the emotional song to life with raw and honest lyrics. Cutting straight to the truth that no one knows how someone is truly feeling on the inside, whether in real life or on social media, as people hide behind the photos they post and the smiles they fake.
The EP also features the upbeat, relatable track “Something or Somebody” that calls out the never-ending cycle of enjoying life’s vices versus quitting them as well as the previously released “One Heart” and title track.
