Turnstile head out on tour this month and their most recent album ‘Time & Space’ established the Baltimore five-piece as hardcore’s brightest new talents. Exploding the genre’s sound without compromising any of its ferocity or passion, their forward-thinking, youth-driven attack is intent on breaking down barriers, both sonically and ideologically.
Turnstile’s only UK dates of 2019 came at the Slam Dunk and 2000trees festivals, but the band are set to return in March for their biggest shows here to date. The tour dates are:
MARCH
9th – Manchester, Academy 2
10th – Bristol, The Trinity Centre
11th – Glasgow, The Garage
12th – Birmingham, The Mill
13th – London, ULU
Tickets are on sale now and available from here.
Having first emerged with 2015’s ‘Nonstop Feelings’, Turnstile’s ‘Time & Space’ represented their second album and their first for Roadrunner Records. It was named 2018’s Album of the Year by Kerrang!, and also featured in ‘best of the year’ lists from NME, Rock Sound and Planet Rock.
Comprised of Brendan Yates (vocals), Franz Lyons (bass/vocals), Brady Ebert (guitars), Pat McCrory (guitars), and Daniel Fang (drums), Turnstile started 2020 by releasing the ‘Share A View’ EP. The three-track release features remixes courtesy of Australian producer and Rinse FM favourite Mall Grab.
