Sister duo Tigirlily Gold took the internet – and country radio – by storm with the release of rowdy single “Shoot Tequila,” which garnered over 43 million views across social media and arrived to US country radio on March 13 as the second-most-added song upon impact. Watch the official video HERE. Continuing to gain momentum, the girls from North Dakota integrate inspiration from their greatest musical influence, Dolly Parton, with their debut EP on Monument Records, Blonde, due June 23. Pre-save the EP HERE.
About the project, Kendra shared, “Blonde is a state of mind. The song/EP is all about channeling that inner confidence, staying true to your story, being able to poke fun at yourself and having fun along the way.” Krista echoed, “The Blonde EP is the first chapter of this whole project. We are very excited to start giving people a taste of what the whole record will be like with these four songs!”
Coinciding with the announcement of the forthcoming EP, sisters Krista and Kendra Slaubaugh are sharing the title track, “Blonde.” With a “Dolly Parton state-of-mind,” the bold and confident tune is a celebration of everything Parton represents for women around the world – a true girl anthem about approaching life lightheartedly and making the most of each moment. Written by Krista and Kendra alongside Alex Kline and Scott Stepakoff, “Blonde” is available everywhere now. Listen HERE.
Sister duo Tigirlily Gold has been playing music together since they could walk, and officially formed their band in high school. Growing up, they crisscrossed the mid-west, growing a fierce fan base and selling out amphitheaters across their home-state of North Dakota. After moving to Nashville, they landed a weekly residence at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Nashville’s famed lower Broadway. Playing four-hour sets, three to four nights a week, the sisters developed a performance style that’s not only captivating and fun but shows just how much entertaining is in their blood.
