Following the release of their acclaimed album ‘Cancel The Sun’, The Rails (Kami Thompson and James Walbourne) today reveal the video for their new single ‘Call Me When It All Goes Wrong’. The duo and their fantastic band will also embark on a 9 date UK headline tour this October.
Directed by Paul Kelly (Finisterre, Lawrence of Belgravia), the video for ‘Call Me When It All Goes Wrong’ features Kami and James at their best: flawless harmony vocals, melodic hooks and an epic guitar solo. On the track Kami said, “This is as pop song about being on the outside of a relationship looking in, hoping it blows up but having no power over the final outcome. It was filmed at Cecil Sharp House in London by director Paul Kelly. The supporting cast includes no less than four Kelly cousins!”
Written by the Rails and produced by Stephen Street, best known for his work with The Smiths and Blur, ‘Cancel The Sun’ marks a welcome return for these fine purveyors of 21st century folk and it’s the first new music since the 2017 release of their ‘Other People’ album.
