THE MONOFONES collectively are a rumbling drum, a heavily distorted guitar which sounds like a dying tractor, and a female voice by which you wouldn’t want to be reprimanded. Known for their unique take on the garage rock scene, the Swiss trio produce loud and wild 60’s garage-trash served with a pinch of punk. Their live shows are sweaty and entertaining and have become legendary not only for the different kind of lo-fi inferno they create, but also the on-stage fireworks they use and a drummer who sets fire to his cymbals whilst he plays. With a furiously high-tempo, THE MONOFONES bring a live a performance that has to be witnessed to be believed.
SNAKERATTLERS are signed to Dirty Water Records and are a cacophonous two-piece rock and roll trash band, Dan and Naomi, an enraged married couple forever hell-bent on ruining your evening. Blasting guitars, hammering drums and howled vocals; dark, mongrel outsider rock that has no limits and desecrates many genres. They’ve spent much of this year on the road, approaching 100 live shows and making their debut at Rebellion Festival. They also launched their debut album, All Heads Will Roll, one of the fastest selling records in the label’s history which has already seen a re-press due to demand. Their live show is a hell-bound voyage of death rock, garage punk potency and fragments of the oldest, dustiest rockabilly.
