The Glorious Sons reveal reflective new song “Don’t Live Fast”
‘Closer To The Sky’, the current single from Canada’s Glorious Sons is No 1 on Apple Music’s New Rock Chart worldwide as well as seeing a ton of play across Kerrang radio and the R2 Rock Show.
Like many bands, they have had to cancel their touring plans due to the coronavirus pandemic, including UK shows at Download Festival and a headline date at London’s Omeara.
With their latest album “A War On Everything” picking up a Juno award nomination for Rock Album Of The Year, they’ve just unveiled a reflective new song “Don’t Live Fast” which pre-dates the pandemic, even though it includes lyrics such as “Wake up and wash your hands of it.”
Singer Brett Emmons said “I swear to god I wasn’t trying to write a song about Covid-19 four months ago – we wrote and recorded this song a few months back when it looked like we might not have the time this year. Look at us now”. Check it out HERE:
Emmons meanwhile started sharing a series of ‘Isolation songs’ he’d been writing while in quarantine, which now includes input from other band members and is available to view on their socials and YouTube page.
