The Glorious Sons achieved a ‘Best Album’ Juno Award in 2018 and have already released their latest offering ‘A War On Everything’ via BMG in the US and Canada. Now it gets a UK release on Dec 13th on vinyl as well as the usual formats. “A War On Everything” spent 2 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart plus 12 weeks at #1 on the Canadian Active Rock chart. Tracks appear on Spotify’s ‘Rock This’ and Apple Music’s ‘The New Rock’ playlists.
It has been chosen as one of Classic Rock’s albums of the year who thought the opening track was “both quirky and catchy, and might remind you of Jellyfish” and the title song “veers into Verve territory” The lead track has also had positive radio support from both Radio 1 and Radio 2.
The band take a shot at a number of stereotypes on “The Ongoing Speculation Into The Death of Rock and Roll” while “Panic Attack” is a plaintive cry for help “I wanna be normal. I wanna be sane. I wanna look at you and feel something other than pain.”
