Having sold-out their biggest headline show to date at Glasgow’s Garage 4 months in advance, caustic Scottish punks The Dunts have announced the addition of 5 new dates to their UK tour this October, with tickets on sale tomorrow at 10am.
Following their soaring performance as support to Gerry Cinnamon at Belfast’s Custom House and career-defining debut at TRNSMT Festival in July, the explosive four-piece revealed the first dates of nationwide tour in Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen and now, The Dunts are set to tear up Newcastle’s Think Tank? Underground, Sheffield’s Cafe Totem, Manchester’s Day & Night Cafe and Birmingham’s Muthers Studio before heading to London’s Notting Hill Arts Club on Halloween.
With the support of BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, the band released their latest offering ‘Bad Decisions’ earlier this summer. Earning critical acclaim and featured as Annie Mac’s New Names, the new track sees The Dunts make their mark with ferocious drums, driving defiant guitars mixed with bouncing melodies and intelligent acerbic lyricism – their core punk sensibilities shine through as they breathe new life into Scotland’s burgeoning music scene.
The additional dates comes ahead of even more international with debut performances, this time at France’s Cabaret Vert and Bastille Sounds festivals in a summer storm before returning to the UK to support Californian punks Plague Vendor at London’s Black Heart on Tuesday 27th August.
