In celebration of ‘Strange Pleasures’ turning 10, Still Corners are pleased to announce a very special remastered 10-year anniversary edition on transparent green vinyl on June 23rd.
The album has been remastered by John Davis at Metropolis London, described by Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) as ‘a master of his craft’.
The anniversary edition includes all the album’s lyrics (for the first time) on a gatefold album sleeve, Strange Pleasures poster, digital download, including a bonus download ‘We Have the Future on Tape’. This vinyl will be released on Wrecking Light Records and is available to pre-order now. A CD version with lyrics and hidden bonus is also available.
Strange Pleasures has developed cult status since its release in 2013. Opening song, The Trip, captured people’s hearts with one YouTube video acting as a virtual community for like-minded fans around the world. The song has over 115 million plays on YouTube and almost 50 million plays on Spotify. You will have heard ‘Fireflies’ (Pitchfork, Best New Track), Strange Pleasures, Beginning to Blue and The Trip across film and television since the album’s release.
Still Corners is a British dream pop band formed in 2007. The band consists of Tessa Murray (vocals) and Greg Hughes (multi-instrumentalist).
