Steps are excited to release their first three albums on vinyl for the very first time. After many years of asking, Step One, Steptacular and Buzz are available in multiple formats to purchase here.

The 5x platinum debut album Step One (1998), 4x platinum and #1 album Steptacular (1999) and double platinum album Buzz (2000) had previously only been available on CD, Cassette and on digital platforms. Steps fans have pleaded over the last 20 years for a vinyl release and the band have not only listened but are offering three special versions of each album.

Featuring classic hits such as Heartbeat, One For Sorrow, Tragedy, Deeper Shade Of Blue, Stomp and It’s The Way You Make Me Feel, each of the albums comes in three different vinyl formats. This includes an Amazon exclusive StepSwirl™, a zoetrope picture disc bringing to life a video for each of the three albums and a unique neon edition in magenta for Step One, yellow for Steptacular and violet for Buzz. All editions feature painstakingly rebuilt original artwork, complete with additional images and full lyrics.

Steps add “Our fans have been so amazing and loyal over the past 25 years and we always try our best to give them what they want. Over the years, we have had so many pleas to release our first three albums on vinyl and now is the time! These are not just any vinyls – these are really special and we can’t wait for you to see and listen to them!”

As the most successful mixed-sex group in British chart history and one of the most loved acts in the country, Steps have recently celebrated their 25th anniversary, released The Platinum Collection, an album packed full of their greatest hits from 1997 to 2022, and played sell-out shows across the country. The Platinum Collection included all their biggest and best hits including #1’s Heartbeat/Tragedy and Stomp plus epic comeback singles Scared Of The Dark and What The Future Holds alongside classics including One For Sorrow and Deeper Shade of Blue. The album charted at #1 on the Official Albums Chart, beating their previous three albums which all charted at #2 and between them yielded 3 iTunes #1’s and 10 Radio 2 A-List singles. Showing no signs of slowing down, this current era of Steps has now outlasted their original 1997 to 2001 run, and fans need not fear, there is still plenty more to come.
