Embodying all aspects of alternative culture, Slam Dunk Festival have revealed the third wave of new names featuring punk icons, hardcore trailblazers and rock transformers from all over the world.
Refused, led by compelling frontman Dennis Lyxzén, are set to make their debut appearance at Slam Dunk Festival. Since their formation in 1991, the Swedish radicals have inspired countless alternative artists with their revolutionary attitudes and progressive sounds flirting with punk, hardcore and everything in-between. As one of the most important bands of the last three decades, their appearance at Slam Dunk Festival will see both festival fans and performing bands honour their longstanding contribution to the scene.
Comeback Kid are returning to Slam Dunk Festival, set to tear up Leeds Temple Newsam site after christening the then-new Hatfield Park venue with their high intensity hardcore in 2018. Also returning to the festival, Deez Nuts are set to go hard, doubling down with fierce riffs and monstrous hooks taken straight from their back catalogue and new album ‘You Got Me F**ked Up’.

Anthemically melancholic, Movements are coming into their own as something more than emo revivalists, balancing post-hardcore with vulnerability that will mesmerise the Slam Dunk audience upon their debut appearance. Free Throw spin pop-punk, rock and emo troupes in their bouncing introspective singalongs, creating a pacing new creation set to resonate in the festival fields. With deeply confessional lyrics set to soft garage pop, Mom Jeans. will make their debut at Slam Dunk, returning to the UK after their sell-out tour. Ones to watch for 2020, it’s an announcement’s emotional American triple-threat.

In what promises to be an astounding return, Young Guns are set to revive their titanic melodic rock sound for an unmissable performance at Slam Dunk. Born from the UK alternative in late 2000s, the quintet were responsible for mammoth tracks such as ‘Crystal Clear’ ‘Bones’ and ‘I Want Out’, receiving consistent praise from then-BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe. Their debut album, All Our Kings Are Dead, appeared on both the UK Rock and UK Indie charts at #3, and they’ll be celebrating 10 years of this release as Slam Dunk welcomes the 10th anniversary of Slam Dunk’s game-changing South edition. Welcoming Fit For A King for the first time in the festivals history, the Texan outfit will lay their claim with a stunning brutality that has won over many heavy fans. Armed with their latest album Dark Skies – expect them to go down a storm as an essential metal listening. Dine Alone records alumni Bedouin Soundclash will be their Canadian reggae-ska sounds to Slam Dunk having announced their new album and teased latest single ‘Full Bloom’ earlier this autumn.
Revealed on Slam Dunk’s socials, Ska kings Reel Big Fish will return to the festival alongside Californian punk legends Face To Face and The Vandals. All three must-see acts will join NOFX and Pennywise on the Punk In Drublic Stage.

Limited early bird festival tickets are still available for £64 + booking fees, with the price rising to £69 + booking fees for general admission tickets very soon.
The Slam Dunk payment plan ends Friday 29th November 2019 11:59pm. This is the last chance that festival goers can secure their ticket for just £9 + booking fees.
Tickets to the Slam Dunk Festival Opening Party are £12 + booking fee. The event will take place at Leeds O2 Academy on Friday 22nd May from 10pm until 2am.
