The sinister and eye-catching video for their latest single, JUST ONE VOICE, has now amassed over 1.3 million views on YouTube alone. With nods to American Horror Story’s Freak Show and David Fincher’s secret society in Fight Club, various degrees of chaos and romance and offbeat beauty erupt while SILENT RIVAL deliver their Matrix-fuelled performance, laying all their cards on the table.
The band are currently in the studio in Los Angeles working alongside producer Mark Needham [Imagine Dragons, The Killers, Pink] working on their second album, set for release next year.
JUST ONE VOICE sees SILENT RIVAL taking cues from high-energy rock predecessors such as The Strokes, New York Dolls and Queens of The Stone Age with singer Sara Coda dancing in Karen O’s footsteps, delivering punch-packing vocals and anthem-worthy lyrics. Within an hour of the track’s release it was placed into the absolutely appropriate ‘Fierce Femmes’ playlist on Spotify at the #12 position.
