Following a massive summer of festivals, one of the UK’s hottest bands, Sea Girls, share the video for their recent single “Violet”. The band, who had a summer packed full of shows including Reading & Leeds Festival, Electric Picnic, TRNSMT, Truck Festival and Benicàssim Festival, will also embark on a soon to sell out UK tour this October, which includes a date at London’s Kentish Town Forum on Thursday 10th October.
Directed by Michael Holyk, the video is shot in a haunting disused railway ticket station in Woolwich. Speaking of the video the band said, “’We may have songs with darkness, but that doesn’t mean we can’t look to the light. ‘Violet’ is wildly optimistic and for the video we find ourselves in an abandoned building and this time we aren’t feeling sorry for ourselves.”
With the last remaining tickets left for London and every other date completely sold-out, Sea Girls will play their biggest ever headline shows on their UK headline tour this October, with support from three-piece The Mysterines. Dates below
