Featuring, granddaughter of Bob Marley, Mystic Marley’s smooth vocal performance and Grammy award-winning rapper Flowdan’s signature rap stylings, reggae-inspired ‘Ram Pam’ speaks to the Hackney trio’s musical upbringing where early jungle, DnB & sound system culture were huge influences. ‘Ram Pam’ follows Rudimental’s previous single, ‘Bring Me Joy’ featuring Karen Harding and their collaboration with Distrupta for ‘Gone For The Night’ featuring Liam Bailey, BackRoad Gee, Scrufizzer and Shakes. The band also appears on House Gospel Choir’s new single ‘Glow’ from their second album, Love Is The Message.
As one of the UK’s most successful dance acts of the last decade, Rudimental have set the bar high. With multiple chart entries, two #1 albums, three #1 singles, 5 billion streams, 4 albums, world tours, platinum-selling singles, and a plethora of awards have cemented their position as trailblazers with a formidable reputation for producing hit records.
Rudimental appeared at several festivals this summer, including Parklife, Glastonbury, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Capital FM’s Summertime Ball, Belgium’s Rampage Festival, Let It Roll in Czech Republic and returned to Ibiza to perform at Defected @ Ushuaia. Closer to home, the band performed a special pop-up DJ event for fans at Crate Brewery in Hackney.
