Having first announced his tour back in September of 2018 Rod Stewart kicked off in Southampton on 31st may. This was followed by York racecourse where 30,000 fans filled the venue adorned with spiked wigs and leopard print galore. Thankfully the rain kept off and it was a beautiful warm summer night, perfect to sing a long to some of Rod’s biggest hits as well as some new tracks from his latest album ‘Blood red Roses’.
If you weren’t lucky enough to catch Sir Rod in all his glory at York, you can still catch him at one of the other Stadiums below, or on his arena tour later in the year.

The band’s frontman John McLaughlin has previously said: “Our proudest moment to date, as a band, has to be supporting global rock icon Sir Rod Stewart at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro in 2017.” Frontman John McLaughlin is an award-winning songwriter and producer who has penned hits for artists such as Westlife, Busted, Echo and the Bunnymen, Shane MacGowan and Sandi Thom.
