Robbie Williams has made his highly-anticipated duet with boxer Tyson Fury, ‘Bad Sharon’, available to access digitally.
The fun festive track is taken from Robbie’s forthcoming album, ‘The Christmas Present’, which is released next Friday November 22 on Columbia Records. The full album is available to pre-order now.
The duo met in Las Vegas earlier this year when Robbie was in the Nevada city for his residency and met Tyson in his dressing room ahead of his fight with German boxer Tom Schwarz.
Robbie says of the duet: “It was such an honour to meet him but to be able to do that [be in his dressing room pre-fight] was mind-blowing…In that moment it clicked in, I’ve seen him sing, he’s a huge character, huge personality, got a great voice, and I asked him right there and then and he said yes…His voice has got gravel, grit and personality.”
The album’s lead single ‘Time for Change’ will be released next Friday when the album is out, accompanied by a new video shot by Vaughan Arnell. Previous tracks already made available digitally from the album are ‘Merry Xmas Everybody’ featuring Jamie Cullum, ‘Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)’ featuring Bryan Adams, and two new songs: ‘Let’s Not Go Shopping’ and ‘Rudolph’.
Available in CD (standard and deluxe), vinyl and cassette formats, the album will feature two discs – ‘Christmas Past’ and ‘Christmas Future’ – both including a brilliant mixture of original songs and special festive covers.
