“Rush Of Blood” showcases Rag’n’Bone Man pushing his creative boundaries, delivering a performance that blends his roaring vocal talent with anthemic production. This track is a contemporary pop song with a nod to joyous uptempo 70’s soul, promising to be a summer hit. As anticipation builds for What Do You Believe In?, “Rush Of Blood” sets the stage for another landmark release for Rag’n’Bone Man. The track is a collaboration with writer David Sneddon, long-term creative partners Mark Crew & Dan Priddy, who also produced it, and legendary mixer Mark ‘Spike’ Stent, known for his work with Miley Cyrus and Harry Styles.
Reflecting on the creation of the track, Rag’n’Bone Man shares, “I wrote that chorus by accident. It was the end of the day, everyone was tired, so we decided to experiment for an hour or two. I mentioned a 70s soul/funk reference but wanted it to feel like euphoria and escapism.”
