Queens of the Stone Age today announce three very special UK headline shows for summer 2023 – including an unmissable date at The Piece Hall, Halifax.

The dates begin at The Piece Hall’s iconic open-air courtyard on Tuesday June 20 before the US band heads to Margate’s Dreamland (June 22) and Cardiff Castle (June 23).

Tickets go on general sale from Friday April 21 at 9am via ticketmaster.co.uk and available for artist presale from Wednesday April 19 at 9am via qotsa.com

The three-date run will mark Queens of the Stone Age’s much anticipated return to the UK, and first live performances in the country since the 2018 Villains tour, which saw Queens described as “the greatest rock’n’roll band on the planet” in a five star review in The Guardian.

Released in 2017, and received as a redefining album, shooting straight to #1 in the UK on its release, Villains is now a UK Gold-certified record.

Alongside 2013’s multiple-GRAMMY-nominated, Billboard 200 #1 charting …Like Clockwork, and their self-titled 1998 debut, the three landmark albums were recently re-released, now back on vinyl newly cut from the original master tapes and available via Matador Records here.

The three special UK live shows arrive among a European summer tour taking in huge performances at Southside Festival, Pinkpop, Roskilde, Open’er Festival, Mad Cool, NOS Alive and more.

Isle Of Wight-based four-piece Coach Party – recently tipped by NME as “glittering new indie-grunge” and “dazzling pop goodness” by DIY – will perform in support at all three UK summer dates.

Queens of the Stone Age join Limp Bizkit, The Charlatans, Johnny Marr, Sting, Madness, James, boygenius, War On Drugs and Ministry of Sound Classical among the 2023 headliners for ‘Live at The Piece Hall’.
