Remi Wolf  and Still Woozy have joined forces for a beautifully surreal new single and video called “Pool.” The track marks the first-ever one-on-one collaboration between close friends and former tourmates Still Woozy (a Portland, Oregon-based singer/songwriter/producer otherwise known as Sven Gamsky) and Remi Wolf (a Bay Area-bred singer/songwriter/producer).  “Pool” is available now here

Directed by Haley Appell, the video for “Pool” drifts between home-movie-like intimacy and a breathtakingly colorful sequence of shots that follow Sven and Remi through a series of settings: a backyard pool, a windswept mountainside field, a carnival ride at dusk. In a perfect visual counterpart to the song’s dreamlike atmosphere, the video offers up many moments of strange magic, including some mid-air acrobatics from the duo as well as Remi’s mythically long pigtails. Remi Wolf continues her pop music takeover, announcing yet another tour that will take her from budding pop up-and-comer to battle-tested superstar. The Gwingle Gwongle Tour will kick off this fall and will bring along HetherOrion Sun and Jordana splitting opening duties for the 20 show run with stops at The Shrine in LA and two nights at Terminal 5 in NYC.

Since the release of Juno, Remi has become a road warrior, helping incite a passionate fan base with a live show that has been called, “Power-Packed” and “unforgettable.” In addition to gracing the stage at festivals like ACL and Firefly, Wolf has already conducted a small, sold-out run of shows in the fall of 2021 followed by a sold out 12-stop North American tour that was concluded in February of 2022. Additionally, Wolf is slated to open for Lorde on her North American tour and hit the international circuits with an EU tour, and festival dates including Lollapalooza in Argentina. In June Remi will be playing two shows in the UK, Manchester and London as well as a round of dates in Europe! Tickets are available via www.gigsandtours.com.

Despite a packed schedule, she has still found time to create new music that pushes pop in an exciting, new direction. Today, Wolf and Still Woozy have unveiled “Pool,” a mellow collaboration that demonstrates a softer side of Wolf’s versatile approach. The collaboration has long been in the works, as Wolf supported Still Woozy on her first ever tour. This is Wolf’s first new music since the release of her debut album Juno, which received praise from The Guardian, NME, Clash, DORK, DIY, The Forty Five, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, TIME, NPR, Pitchfork, etc and has amassed nearly 60 million streams since its release in October 2021.

On working with Still Woozy on “Pool”, Wolf shares: “Pool was such a beautifully natural collaboration – and is a great reflection of how life can just so seamlessly turn into art. It perfectly showcases mine and Sven’s comfortability with each other and how both of our wildly different skill sets can create something that feels so true to both of us. We went into the writing process with the intention of being 100% honest and specific with where we were both at that day and I love how when I listen to the song it feels like a true time capsule to both of our life situations at the time.”

Still Woozy shares: “Pool came together in an afternoon of hanging out with Remi and Jared. It was one of the quickest written songs I’ve ever been a part of. Remi and I had been hanging out talking about life all morning, so the content for the song was fresh on our minds as we went to write. She recorded her verse in one take and we knew instantly it was something special.”
