Following on from the release of his latest single ‘pillowTHOUGHTS’, the rising singer songwriter, Denis Coleman, has today shared the single’s official music video, directed by Sam Leviton. Watch Here.
Visually conveying the song’s themes, Denis explains the meaning behind music video, stating
“It follows the rise and fall of a tragic relationship, culminating in the protagonist’s frantic, futile search for meaning and the love he once had after he realises too late that he wasn’t ready for the end. I shot this video just a few miles away from where I grew up – the salty shores of Long Island – and filming the video at the end of the summer imbued the video with a sombrely bittersweet tension that only made the action more genuine.”
Released at the end of August, ‘pillowTHOUGHTS’ has garnered support from the likes of Wonderland, Songwriting Magazine, When The Horn Blows, The Book of Man and more. The latest single joins previous releases this year including ‘Tangerine’ and ‘Wrong Reasons’, as well as a remix of ‘Tangerine (Billen Ted Remix)’. Showing no signs of slowing down, Denis will be out on the road later this year, supporting HRVY on his UK tour in October, and he recently announced a joint headline tour with Here At Last and The 202, with a string of dates across the UK in November. The tour kicks off at London’s O2 Academy Islington on November 5th.
