Oliver Cronin has emerged as one of Australia’s brightest new pop hopes, his early career highlights include the breakthrough singles ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ and ‘Girl Next Door’, over 40 million streams, a Best New Artist nomination at the Rolling Stone Awards, and performing at GQ Australia’s Man of the Year awards in front of famous faces such as Matty Healy and Sam Worthington.

Now Oliver turns his attention to the UK as he shares the new single ‘Room For Two’, which features on his current EP ‘Edge of Paradise’ He will also play his debut London show as guest to Natalie Jane at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on March 1st.

‘Room For Two’ introduces Oliver’s rising status, an electrifying alt-pop anthem with an instantly infectious hook that will appeal to fans of Justin Bieber, Kid Laroi and Benson Boone. It’s a lovelorn song about being apart from a romantic interest and performed with his characteristic boy-next-door charm. It also became a fan favourite during his recent live shows.

The track features on his nine-track ‘Edge of Paradise’ EP alongside his recent Australian radio hit ‘Girl Next Door’. A pulsating, bass-heavy electro-pop rush, it sees Oliver duet with the ARIA-nominated Charley on a song that playfully captures the confusion of a love triangle with a twist. Another standout moment on the set is ‘Maria’, a classic dramatic ballad made in collaboration with Filipino band Lola Amour. Listen to the ‘Edge of Paradise’ EP HERE.

He adds, “As you can probably tell by the name, we’re one step closer to my debut album ‘Paradise’. The last few years have been an absolute rollercoaster and I haven’t exactly felt in the right headspace to finish this album, but I’ve grown a lot and as time goes on, I feel more and more comfortable and confident in the music and what paradise looks and sounds like for me.”
