Oh Boy Records, started by the late John Prine, announces UK & EU Tour, “Oh Boy Goes To Europe.” The tour will feature the brilliant Arlo McKinley, Emily Scott Robinson and Kelsey Waldon. They will be stopping in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin, Hamburg & Amsterdam from June 14th – 22nd and will see John’s wife Fiona Prine host select evenings.

All three artists will perform sets packed with new music – each night concluding with a group performance of a John Prine classic. The Hamburg date will also see a very special and rare additional performance from Oh Boy’s longest-signed artist Dan Reeder.

Gifted singer-songwriter Arlo McKinley arrives in the UK for the first time to perform songs from his critically acclaimed album Die Midwestern, as well as unveiling new songs from a soon-to-be-announced new record. After almost giving up on music altogether, the street-soul, country/punk artist’s story is one of hope and sincerity.

Also joining the tour is Kentucky songwriter Kelsey Waldon, who previously toured in Europe with John and is currently recording with the legendary Shooter Jennings for a brand-new record this summer.  She will perform tracks from her well-received Oh Boy Records debut album White Noise/White Lines which was Uncut’s 8/10 Americana Album of the Month and a Top 5 Classic Rock country album of the Year. Rolling Stone named one of the album’s singles, ‘Kentucky, 1988’ their #1 country and Americana song of 2019.

Colorado songwriter, Emily Scott Robinson will be performing songs from her critically acclaimed, first album with Oh Boy Records, American Siren. With hints of bluegrass, country and folk, the eloquent collection shares her gift for storytelling through her pristine soprano and the perspective of her unconventional path into music. MOJO gave the record a glowing 4* citing that “there’s lots to love, with its simple arrangements, sweet vocals and warm harmonies reminiscent of Iris DeMent and Courtney Marie Andrews.” She also received best of 2021 nods for the album from Rolling Stone, NPR, and Stereogum.

Finally, the Hamburg date will offer up an extremely special and rare performance from Oh Boy’s longest signed artist, Dan Reeder. Having released all four of Reeder’s records, the albums garnered glowing reviews, and The New Yorker’s Ben Greenman coined him as “one of the foremost outsider artists in modern folk”.

With aspirations of growing the tour in the years to come, June’s dates are a stunning gesture in showcasing the finest artists on the label’s esteemed roster and in keeping the mighty John Prine spirit alive.
