nothing,nowhere.has returned with nightmare, a brand-new single which is available now on all streaming platforms. The Vermont-based artist has also dropped the official music video, which was produced by Derek Maher / Scott Bell and directed by Patrick Lawler / nothing,nowhere.
nothing,nowhere. elaborated on the new music detailing of the track stating, “I wrote nightmare while I was watching Purple Rain every night with the lights out. For days I would put the movie on mute and just be inspired by the visuals and the vibe. The final product seems like some sort of dystopian 80’s Miami Beach fever dream. Songs like these are the reason I love making music and pushing myself out of my comfort zone.”
nightmare arrives alongside the announcement of nothing,nowhere.’s largest ever world tour, which is set to get underway in the Spring. The North American leg which kicks off on 14th April in Burlington, will feature special guests Danger Incorporated, Ro Ransom, and Bogues. The tour will see nothing,nowhere. traversing North America until mid-May with stops in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and more. It will then continue on around the UK and Europe, starting at Manchester’s Gorilla on 17th September, playing shows in Glasgow, Birmingham and Bristol. nothing,nowhere. will then play London’s Electric Ballroom on 22nd September, and head to Europe shortly after.
VIP packages will also be available for each date, which will include a mindful meditation clinic hosted by nothing,nowhere. Fans will experience a 30-minute guided meditation led by the artist, followed by a Q&A with vegan food provided. A devoted conservationist, nothing,nowhere. will use the upcoming dates to promote green touring by bringing in reusable water bottles, cutlery, and plates to each venue, as well as utilizing recyclable VIP wristbands that can be planted to grow trees.
Furthermore, nothing,nowhere. will be partnering with local charities that support conservation at each date of the tour, as well as donating a portion of all VIP profits to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America. nightmare is the first helping of new music from nothing,nowhere. since the release of bloodlust, his collaborative EP with Travis Barker which was released in September. bloodlust is highlighted by lead single destruction, and was followed by a prolific string of singles including call back, dread, and ornament.
