‘Banshee’ is a tour de force, a five track EP of depth and emotion. It’s pro-pop, taking in a dizzying array of influences. Sky-scraping melodies and timeless songwriting make for one of the most exciting releases of the New Year. It’s a richer sounding record that proves that the brilliant debut EP ‘Waves’ was no one-off.

Waves’ was released in March 2021. Featuring previous singles ‘Ladybird’ and ‘Say It’, ‘Banshee’ was recorded and co-produced in Belfast with frequent collaborator Chris W Ryan and was mixed by John Congleton (Lana Del Rey, Phoebe Bridgers).

The band describe the Banshee EP:

“This EP is definitely bigger, having more time in the studio definitely meant we got to experiment more and layer more into each track so there’s an overall bigger sound! The main themes of this EP are restlessness and anxiety, during lockdown that’s how myself and most people were feeling so that’s what inspired a lot of the writing.”
