Scottish indie-rock band Neon Waltz today release the music video for their track ‘As Good As Gone’, taken from their second studio album ‘Honey Now’, out now.
The creative, self-recorded music video sees lead singer Jordan get to grips learning a brand new skill – juggling. Practising day and night, he grapples to be the ‘world’s best juggler’ in a video packed with personality.
There has been a seismic shift in the Neon Waltz band DNA since the release of their 2017 debut ‘Strange Hymns’. Somewhat bolstered by the onset of a global pandemic and changes in the band’s set-up, they seized the opportunity to completely reinvent themselves and find new ways of recording, writing and producing music. In Freswick Castle, 3 miles away from their hometown of John O’Groats in the very top of Scotland, they recorded their album ‘Honey Now’ with the help of Edwyn Collins (Orange Juice) and Tarek Musa (Spring King, Dead Nature). An album filled to the brim with larger-than-life indie anthems and roaring choruses, it sets a new precedent for the band. The beginning of a brand new chapter.
