Scottish indie-rock band Neon Waltz release their latest single ‘A Million People’, the second track from their upcoming album ‘Honey Now’ out 1st September. Listen here and watch here. The band will be performing live on 1st July in London at Fierce Panda’s Pandamonium Summer Party, free tickets available here.
Following their return last month with ‘Thoughts / Dreams / Regrets’, their latest track is even more defiant. With its dizzying, intoxicating aura, it’s a track centred around the confusion that the pandemic brought. The thoughts and feelings that swirled around as we were all trapped in self-isolation. The accompanying music video revels in that joyous blowout with our friends that occurred when the horrors of lockdown were over and we could return to normality once again.
The band say of the track: “Written in the height of Lockdown 1, it’s a song about being absolutely stir crazy. Scared to leave the house, but also the intrusive thoughts that would present themselves when inside. I was going through a massive change in my life at the time and writing this song sort of pulled me out of the hole. It wrote itself and the bones of the song took about 2 hours to write”
Their second album ‘Honey Now’ will be released on 1st September via Fierce Panda Records.
