Returning to the NUVOLVE imprint, Ryuken has joined forces with pop favourite Mutya Buena on new single ‘Feels Good’, out now.
A 2-step-inflected pop jam, ‘Feels Good’ combines majestic strings and bumpin’ beats with ex-Sugarbabe Mutya’s flawless vocals which reign supreme. It marks Ryuken’s second release on NUVOLVE, following September’s ‘Over Again’, a collaboration with London-based singer-songwriter Mel Hassan.
DJ, producer and radio presenter duo Ryuken formed in 2016 with one goal in mind: to make good house music. It didn’t take them long to make an impact on the underground scene, doing so with the release of ‘Let’s Turn it Up’ on Hervé’s label Cheap Thrills. In this short period of time they have received consistent support from a long list of club and radio DJs, many of which are household names.
Mutya Buena burst onto the pop scene as a founding member of chart-topping girl band Sugababes. She would then collaborate with the likes of Groove Armada, Amy Winehouse and George Michael, cementing her status as one of the most respected names in British pop music.
Launched last year by DJ EZ and his long-term friend and manager Paul Marini, NUVOLVE has emerged as one of the frontrunners in forward thinking UKG. The imprint has already harnessed talent from some of the scene’s legends such as Todd Edwards, Smokey Bubblin B and Club Asylum right through to up-and-coming future stars like SHOSH, MPH, Sampladelic, The Phat Controlla and Fabian Dubz. The label aims to truly encompass DJ EZ’s love for all forms of electronic music from garage to bass and everything in between.
‘Feels Good’ is the work of a label that continues to go from strength to strength.
