MULTINUT BUTTER will be celebrating the release of their debut single, PAPERWEIGHT, at #360RAW11 on FRIDAY 29 NOVEMBER. The single will have a limited run of 15 CD copies – available to purchase at the gig – a full two weeks prior to the release on all digital platforms. The CDs will be numbered and will include a download code and exclusive, individual messages from different band members.
PAPERWEIGHT showcases the band’s unique blend of Psychedelic Pop, Rock, Soul and Jazz, taking the listener through many ups and downs with raucous guitar riffs and explosive jams contrasting with dream-like soundscapes. The song explores lead vocalist George’s first love who struggled to hold her life together as a victim of the environment she was placed in.

MULTINUT BUTTER have been together for almost three years, building their repertoire and style in different ways. George Hattersley is the principal producer of the project, as well as singing vocals and playing keyboards; Matthew Dudley co-produces the tracks and plays guitar; the fabulous Ben Parry also plays guitar; the wonderful Nathan Apps is on bass; the dashing Ben Spruce on drums; and, for the first time at the single launch, Amber Ackerman provides organ and backing vocals. The band are planning to release a follow up single in early 2020 and are currently developing their concept album.
To coincide with the latest in their special events showcasing the incredible talent currently emerging from Yorkshire and beyond, RICHARD WATSON (promoter of the 360 Club in Leeds) and ALAN RAW (presenter of BBC Introducing West Yorkshire and BBC Introducing Humberside) are proud to announce that the evening will double as a launch night for the debut single, PAPERWEIGHT, from Leeds band MULTINUT BUTTER.
Taking place on FRIDAY 29 NOVEMBER – and subtitled #360RAW11 – the event will feature a further three emerging Leeds Bands MEGA HAPPY, GLASSHEADS and DACTYLION.
