Double Olivier Award-nominated actress and singer, Marisha Wallace, has re-released her Christmas album, Soul Holiday, available on all digital platforms now. Listen here.
Songs on the album include “Do You Hear What I Hear,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “Blue Christmas,” “Oh Come All Ye Faithful,” and, from Sister Act 2, “Joyful Joyful.” Marisha has also recorded one of her Dreamgirls anthems, “I Am Changing.” All tracks on the album have been lovingly recorded with live bands, perfectly complimenting Marisha’s iconic soaring vocals.
Speaking about the release, Marisha says: ‘I’m so excited to share Soul Holiday with you all again! It felt like the perfect time to re-release this Chistmas album, I hope it adds to your Christmas cheer and festivities over the Christmas period, however you spend it’
Marisha recently performed a track from the album “Joyful Joyful” at Magic FM at Christmas, which will be played across Magic FM on 1st December to welcome in the holiday season.
Fans of Marisha can also catch her performing “Do You Hear What I Hear” on BBC’s Songs of Praise Christmas special and will see her performing for HM The King at the Royal Variety Performance, where she will be the first American to perform the national anthem for The King and Queen, during The Royal Variety Performance show which airs on 15th December 2024.
This December, Marisha will make her debut Pantomime performance at the iconic London Palladium Panto for Robin Hood, where Marisha will play the show’s villain, The Sheriff Of Nottingham. Soul Holiday will be available to purchase as a vinyl or CD at the Palladium theatre, making it the perfect gift this Christmas.
