British rising-star LOLA YOUNG today appears on the brand new John Lewis Christmas advert and current single ‘FAKE’, which saw its’ debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden, tops over a million streams. Watch the advert here.
The south London native has shot further into the public eye this week with her spell-binding performance on the brand John Lewis Christmas advert, performing a new version of the 1984 classic ‘Together in Electric Dreams’ by Philip Oakley and Giorgio Moroder, listen to the full track here.
Lola also appeared on the latest episode of Later…With Jools Holland performing an incredible stripped back version of latest single ‘FAKE’ – watch here. The single, which was produced by award winning producer Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence and the Machine), has already been added to the BBC Radio 1 playlist and continues to reach new global streaming heights daily.
Lola recently supported Irish superstar Dermot Kennedy on his sold out UK tour, playing to over 90,000 fans across the country including 30,000 in London alone at three sold out nights at the legendary Alexandra Palace, winning over new fans and wowing audiences night after night. She also heads out on her own UK tour next week, starting with a sold out show at London venue Lafayette, and then heading around the country for 4 more sold out shows (full details below)
