One of the most exciting, new and up-and-coming pop artists, Lo Lauren drops her brand-new single Born To Run today (listen here).
After an unforgettable 2024, from Hollywood recognition to stadium performances, Lo is kickstarting 2025 with yet another anthem-in-waiting. Packed with bold, infectious melodies and synth driven, adrenaline-pumping production, her self-titled ‘glitter pop’ is quickly becoming unmistakably Lo Lauren. Speaking from the heart, Born To Run is Lo’s most raw and brutally honest yet, exploring her dedication to her dream of making it as a music artist and letting that take priority above all else, no matter the cost. With Born To Run, we are introduced to a new side of Lo; fearless, cut-throat and self-assured, further cementing herself as the UK’s next breakout artist.
Showing no signs of slowing down, Lo has just announced her highly-anticipated EP Wonderlust, dropping on 11th April; a project embracing the highs and lows, twist and turns, the rollercoaster of being in your 20s.
Drawing inspiration from the pop icons of the 2010s that soundtracked her teens and blending it with her own hook-driven songwriting, Lo’s music is a melting pot of nostalgic, ambitious and unapologetic pop poised to stand the test of time. The 5-track EP features the previously released Before The Kiss, Wonder and new songs Born To Run, Rose & Jack and Would It Be So Bad?. The debut track Wonder picked up attention from the likes of YouTube who put Lo on the cover of their ‘Pop Fresh’ playlist, and BBC Radio 1 where it was chosen as a ‘Future Bop’ by Mollie King.
The second single Before The Kiss was featured in multiple Spotify playlists including New Music Friday and the cover of ‘Fresh Finds Pop’, which led to the track being discovered by Hollywood director Jordan Weiss, who immediately asked for the song to be featured in the movie trailer for her new film ‘Sweethearts’ which is out on HBO Max. Lo’s dedicated and meticulous approach to her craft is undeniable, even spending three months learning her latest single entirely backwards for a reverse video, which you can check out here.
