With her incredible debut album ‘DOGVIOLET’ released 24th August on Counter Records, LAUREL releases ‘Adored’, the third single to be taken from the album after lead single ‘Lovesick’ and the A/A release of ‘Crave’ and ‘Same Mistakes’, available everywhere now.
‘Adored’ is yet another effortless yet imposing track from LAUREL, and stands out on the evocative and sublime 12 track LP for its swagger and attitude. The sassy, stomping track rolls through angular guitar chops into an expansive chorus and is a firm live favourite. Lead single ‘Lovesick’ set the tone for ‘DOGVIOLET’, with open, sparse production revealing LAUREL’s soaring emotive voice and the vintage warmth of her guitar playing. Other album highlights include spellbinding live favourite ‘Life Worth Living’, the gritty blues of ‘Same Mistakes’, the soaring ‘Crave’ and bitingly intense track ‘Sun King’.
With continued support from Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq, Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart, John Kennedy, Apple Music, Spotify, The Guardian, Wonderland and I-D Magazine, as well as partnerships with Burberry, Ellesse, Levis and Vans, LAUREL heads out on a UK and 33 date European tour this autumn.
