Brazillian DJ & producer KVSH and rising artist Schillist’s single ‘Sicko Drop’ is showing no signs of slowing down. Listen HERE.
Featuring a driving bassline and a bold percussive break down, ‘Sicko Drop’ is a dance-floor ready track and looks set to be one of this summer’s biggest anthems. The track was first created when KVSH decided to make a track with one of his YouTube subscribers Schillist during the 2020 lockdown after sending him a demo. The single has since become a worldwide sensation, garnering over 12 million streams on Spotify alone, generating almost 250k videos on Tik Tok and is currently in the UK viral top 50.
KVSH says: ‘It all started during a livestream on my Youtube channel when Schillist sent me his demo. I loved the first idea and literally asked him to collaborate with me. Sicko Drop went viral in more than 30 countries and now we have millions of streams on Spotify and thousands of videos on Tiktok. I can’t wait for events to return so I can play Sicko Drop!’
Schillist says: ‘I will never forget that day: I was almost going to sleep when I saw KVSH livestream on his channel. I joined the stream and decided to send him a demo track of mine. What if he enjoys it? And so it happened…I can’t wait for the events to return so I can play Sicko Drop for you guys in the crowd for the first time ever!’
DJ and producer, KVSH aka Luciana Ferreira has established himself as one of the most sought after Brazilian artists in the electronic scene. He has been honoured by Forbes Brazil Under 30 List and is considered one of this generation’s most important Brazilian artists. Not stopping there, the star has also played some of the biggest festival mainstages across Brazil including sets at the likes of Rock In Rio and Lollapalooza, as well as further shows across the globe including North America, Europe and Australia.
Despite his young age, rising producer Schillist has had a rapid rise to success in a short space of time. Self-taught, he started producing tracks and releasing them independently, amassing over 10 million streams on Spotify in the process.
The huge viral smash ‘Sicko Drop’ is out now via STMPD RCRDS/Sony RCA UK and looks set to be one of this year’s biggest hits.
