Fast-rising Country star Kidd G unveils a new single and music video entitled ‘Summer In A Small Town’ out now via Rebel Music / Geffen Records. The track simmers with slide guitar and a laidback beat as the country maverick paints an idyllic sun-kissed picture of American staples, ‘cheap shades, fake ID’s, Daisy Dukes, and cutoff jeans,’ before proclaiming, ‘Ain’t nothing funner than a summer in a small town.’
The track is accompanied by a new video that seamlessly translates this slice-of-life on-screen with no shortage of unforgettable vignettes. In 2021, there’s nothing like ‘Summer In A Small Town’ and there’s definitely nobody like Kidd G.

This new single paves the way for a whole lot more to come as he readies his full length project for release later this year.
Along with officially surpassing 100K subscribers on YouTube and 100 million-plus streams and counting, Kidd G recently enlisted Lil Uzi Vert for a fun remix of “Teenage Dream”. The track was an instant hit, gaining recognition from HYPEBEAST, XXL, among others. Kidd G also linked with longtime country music heavyweight Colt Ford to assist with a remix to his viral hit song “Down The Road”. Both achievements arrive on the heels of Kidd G’s full-length project, Teenage Dream: 1000 Miles from Georgia, the deluxe version of his debut EP, Teenage Dream, a six-track project which features a collision of potent beats and gritty yet melodic guitar work working together on the 18-year-old’s first solid body of work.
Throughout the EP, that sound creates a powerful backdrop to the slice-of-life songwriting many fans first discovered on “Dirt Road” — the October 2020 release that quickly landed on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and amassed 5 million YouTube views in little over a month on the official music video (18M views to date). The Georgia-bred singer/songwriter recently caught the attention of CMT, who hailed his music as “earwarming and undeniable”, and THE NEW YORK TIMES, who exclusively profiled him earlier this year online and in print.
In the US, Kidd G will embark on the much-anticipated “Down Home Boy Tour” where he will be performing alongside fellow country artist Spencer Crandall. Kicking off in Houston, TX this Fall and ending at the iconic Gramercy Theatre in New York, the seven stops will mark the first time that the 18-year-old headlines since gaining notoriety in 2020 with his viral hit “Dirt Road”. He broke the news of the tour on Instagram. Tickets are available now HERE.
