KELSEA BALLERINI has released a deluxe edition of her sophomore album, UNAPLOGETICALLY and returns with fan-favourite “Miss Me More” as her new single. Produced by Forest Glen Whitehead and Jason Massey, Ballerini penned the up-tempo track alongside David Hodges and Brett McLaughlin.
UNAPOLOGETICALLY (Deluxe Edition), introduces fans to four new songs with the clever “Fun and Games” (Kelsea Ballerini, Forest Glen Whitehead and Shane McAnally); a solo write from Ballerini, “I Think I Fell In Love Today”; a live acoustic cover of Fleetwood Mac’s legendary “Landslide” (Stephanie Nicks); and her global smash collaboration with The Chainsmokers, “This Feeling” (Andrew Taggart, Alex Pall and Emily Warren).
“I’m such a fan of these guys as people, artists, and songwriters,” shares Ballerini. “I’ve covered a few of their songs on different tours, and as far as collaborators, they’ve always been at the top of my list! I’m really excited for people to hear our worlds blend in ‘This Feeling.’” Ballerini and The Chainmokers performed the smash hit on a number of major US television shows: The Victoria Secret Show, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Monday Night Football.
Ballerini assumed her anticipated role on The Voice as their first-ever fifth coach during the premiere episode of the Comeback Stage. The 10-part companion series followed Ballerini as she mentors six Comeback Artists not chosen during Blind Auditions. Elsewhere she made solo TV appearances on Good Morning America, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Late Night with Seth Myers, Mickey’s 90th Spectacular, American Music Awards, CMA Awards, ACM Awards, CMT Awards, and more.
After wrapping 58 dates on Keith Urban’s ‘Graffiti U World Tour’, Ballerini announced her own ‘Miss Me More’ Tour across the US in 2019, and that she will link up with fellow The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson as direct support on her ‘Meaning Of Life’ tour.
Award nominations and wins continue to abound for Ballerini. Major nominations include Female Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year (ACM Awards), Top Country Female Artist (Billboard Music Awards), Best Crush Song, Country Favorite Song (Radio Disney Music Awards), Choice Country Artist (Teen Choice Awards), Female Vocalist of the Year (CMA Awards), Country Artist of the Year (People’s Choice Awards), and Favourite Female Country Artist (American Music Awards).
