Rising pop and soul sensation JERUB releases life-affirming new single ‘Gonna Be Okay’, out now. Listen here

The track, co-written and co-produced with Troy Miller is the positive affirmation we all need. Lifting you higher until you get flying again, JERUB’s warm, soaring vocals provide a guiding light to help you get through dark times.

JERUB says about the track: “Gonna Be Okay is a song that captures my message for anyone who might be going through something difficult.

Working with Troy was amazing, he’s such an incredible writer and producer. We wrote this song at his home studio and decided to try and pen something a little bit hopeful. A song that could help people get through the hard times. For me, hope looks like knowing that somehow, it’s gonna be okay even when I’m feeling really low and things seem dark.

I remember when I was at Uni studying Social Work and doing my placement, we’d go around Nottingham City Centre early in the morning and check in on people who were rough sleeping and hope that they would be okay. That whole experience showed me how important a helping hand can be when life gets hard. My hope is that this song will be that helping hand, almost like a little small voice in the back of your head reminding you that it’s Gonna Be Okay”

A live setting is where JERUB really comes alive, leaving crowds around the world in utter awe with his emotive performances. Last Friday, he took to the stage at this year’s Comic Relief on BBC 1 for a very special rendition of Sam Cooke’s ‘A Change Is Gonna Come’.

JERUB will be touring across the UK and Europe this April, with sold out shows in both Nottingham and London. Remaining tickets are on sale now here. Full list of dates below.
