Four time Grammy Award winner Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit will reissue two of the group’s earliest albums – 2009’s self-titled Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit and 2011’s Here We Rest – both remixed and remastered by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb – out October 18th for the first time on Thirty Tigers. These records contain some of Isbell’s most beloved fan favorites, including “Alabama Pines”, “Codeine”, “Cigarettes and Wine”, “The Blue” and “Tour Of Duty”.
Isbell has also sold out his inaugural, self-curated ShoalsFest, taking place on October 5th in Muscle Shoals, AL, with performances from Sheryl Crow, Mavis Staples & Amanda Shires, in addition to Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit.
The 400 Unit has also announced a seven-night run at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium, making it the longest stand the group has had at the venue to date. Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit have sold out 20 consecutive nights at the Ryman Auditorium between 2014 and 2018. Last year’s critically acclaimed release, Live From The Ryman documented some of the finest moments from 2017 and showcased the power and nuance of the mighty 400 Unit – Derry deBorja (keyboards), Chad Gamble (drums), Jimbo Hart (bass), Amanda Shires (fiddle) and Sadler Vaden (guitar). The Ryman run has become an annual residency featuring different sets nightly and themed opening acts each year. 2018 featured all Nashville-based openers, while 2017 featured all female support.
