Last Friday, slowthai topped the UK album charts and the UK vinyl charts with his second album ‘TYRON’. Selling more than double the units of his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Nothing Great About Britain’ less than 2 years ago, ‘TYRON’ sales weighed heavy on physical as slowthai cemented his path for being one of Britains most revered and loved alternative rappers. Globally, the album has already sold through 65k adjusted units in under 2 weeks.

A stand out from the record being raised up by fans is the affecting album closer, ‘adhd’ where slowthai digs deep and finds untold courage to expose the inner workings of his mind. In stark contrast to recent singles ‘CANCELLED’ and VEX, ‘adhd’ is essentially the point of TYRON, the album is a journey from start to finish and this song is the finale and if social chatter is anything to go by, it’s helping a lot of people out there with the same condition.

The video is also a counterpoint to the ruckus caused by CANCELLED  and VEX and find slowthai in a contemplative space – a one-take shot of him with a city-scape backdrop feeling distant from the noise and bustle of the world. Watch ‘adhd’ HERE.
