Today he unveils his captivating cello rendition of “Song To The Moon,”– LISTEN HERE. Filmed amidst the picturesque landscapes of Croatia, and with his distinctive spin on the piece, HAUSER delivers a rendition that is as romantic as it is exquisite.
“When I heard this beautiful aria for the first time, I was so inspired,” HAUSER recalls. “You know, when you’re a student, you stick to the cello repertoire and how it’s taught to you. You’re not encouraged to think outside the box. Hearing Renée Fleming sing this aria was a pivotal moment for me. I decided to do something outside the box: I transcribed this aria for the cello myself – the first transcription I ever did. Renée Fleming’s voice singing this aria inspired me to treat the cello like a singer. This experience defined my style for the rest of my life.”
Following a triumphant 2023 marked by the release of his first-ever holiday album, today HAUSER is set to embark on his solo world tour kicking off in Brisbane, Australia.
