Alternative pop visionary Gia Ford has released her latest single, ‘Earth Return’ a hauntingly evocative track and first new music since her debut album Transparent Things, out now via Chrysalis Records. Out today, ‘Earth Return’ is a deeply personal piece blending nostalgic warmth with raw vulnerability, and is the final song created during the Transparent Things recording sessions. Listen here.

‘Earth Return’ is a testament to Gia’s lyrical depth, resonating with themes of memory, family, and an everlasting bond to place. As Gia herself describes: “‘Earth Return’ was born out of the desire to be in your most loved place when you die. For me, that’s around where my grandparents lived, in the Hope Valley in Derbyshire, whenever I’m there I feel at ease with everything; as if, I died there right then, it’d be the right thing, and that my spirit would be among my family and even the spirits of versions of me, me as a child, running around there.”

Gia will be embarking on her first UK headline tour this month, kicking off in Bristol on 10th November and running until 19th November in her hometown Sheffield, which has already sold out. Remaining tickets can be purchased here.

Released in September, Transparent Things is an immersive collection that showcases how Gia Ford is able to craft songs like no other artist of her generation. Gia’s haunting vocals, extraordinary gift for storytelling and her timeless sound, matched with her mesmerising stage presence, have seen her garner a huge amount of support
