After selling out a triumphant UK headline tour in March which included a big night at the O2 Academy Brixton and most recently hitting TRSNMT, Gang of Youths are set to play a fresh run of UK and Ireland dates this autumn. The tour will see Gang of Youths become one of the first bands to headline London’s new Outernet venue.
In addition to the UK and Ireland shows, Gang of Youths have also announced additional shows in Frankfurt, Nijmegen and Groningen. These join their previously announced European dates, which were rescheduled from earlier this year.
Tickets for the UK shows will go on sale HERE from 10am this Friday, July 22nd.
Gang of Youths commented, “We have had an extraordinary time doing the European summer festivals and so it was a no-brainer to head back for our own shows.”
Gang of Youths’ current album ‘angel in realtime.’ saw the band make the biggest international impact of their career to date, including their first UK Top 10 chart position. Over in the States, they completed show-stealing TV performances on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ and ‘CBS Mornings’ before selling out numerous shows during their headline tour and playing the Shaky Knees Festival. They also released the ‘immolation tapes’ EP, a session recorded for SiriusXM which features their take on the Wilco classic ‘A Shot In The Arm’.
Next month will see Gang of Youths return to Australia for a run of arena shows as well as their own festival, A More Perfect Union. They will then spend the second half of September touring North America.
