Tom Walker will perform his brand new track ‘For Those Who Can’t Be Here’ at the ‘Royal Carols: Together At Christmas’ on ITV at 7.30pm on Christmas Eve.
Hosted and spearheaded by The Duchess Of Cambridge, and supported by The Royal Foundation, the service will feature Tom performing alongside Leona Lewis and Ellie Goulding, with carols sung by the world-renowned Westminster Abbey choir, and will pay tribute to the incredible work of individuals and organisations across the UK who have supported their communities through the COVID-19 pandemic. Tom recently played a Forward Trust Charity Event of which The Duchess of Cambridge is Patron.
In a post on social media, Tom said “It’s just a standard day singing in Westminster Abbey! Honoured to be performing my new song at the Royal Carol Concert this year and always a pleasure seeing the Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge. Tune in to ITV on Christmas Eve to see me and my beanie on the big screen.”
Streams and downloads of For Those Who Can’t Be Here, which speaks of heartfelt sorrow, remembering those who can’t be there at this time of the year, will benefit The Samaritans this Christmas, helping them provide vital emotional support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide.
