In her first release since her debut album in June, Florrie is back with playful new song Swimming Pool. Listen to Swimming Pool here.

The track perfectly wraps up summer with its upbeat tempo, infused with disco influence across the bass lines and guitar riffs and features Florrie’s signature drums and ethereal vocals. Speaking of the track, Florrie said “Swimming Pool has such a nostalgic feeling about it and came together so easily in the studio, which isn’t always the case! The writing process was very freeing and I think you can hear that in the production. I wrote it last summer, and it didn’t feel like the right move to put it on the album, as the album has very different themes, but I hope it’s a song that people go to when they want that lazy summer feeling of hanging out in the park or by the pool, or reminiscing about those carefree summers gone by.”

The track is accompanied by its official music video, shot and edited by Archie Campbell. The video sees Florrie perform the track in the gorgeous blue water with a sun filled backdrop, mirroring the carefree, fun themes of the song. Watch the official video here.

Swimming Pool follows on from her debut album, The Lost Ones, which now has over 6 million streams. The highly anticipated release features singles Looking For Love, Never Far From Paradise, Kissing In The Cold, Personal and the album title track, The Lost Ones. Showcasing her dedication to her craft in her recent releases, Swimming Pool is an addition to her portfolio that is set to be a fan favourite.

The multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer and songwriter has had an incredible summer filled with live shows. Earlier this year she supported Australian artist G Flip on their huge US tour, before her own sold-out headline show in London and then supporting Girls Aloud at London’s iconic O2 Arena on their 5 sold-out dates. Florrie then headed to Silverstone to support Kings Of Leon at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix on the main stage after being announced as one of the F1 Tracks: Discovery artists. The London-based songwriter has received huge acclaim for her work as a member and in-house drummer for Xenomania, the supergroup of songwriters and producers known for some of pop’s biggest hits. Florrie has co-written for huge artists such as Kylie Minogue, Rebecca Ferguson, The Saturdays and Pet Shop Boys.
