Faux have just revealed the brand new video for single, Body Heat. The video goes back to the 80’s, and sees the band perform live and try their hand at a dance routine in a club, in their hometown of Southampton.
Led by frontman Lee Male’s soaring vocals accompanied by jangly guitars, it is an upbeat anthem and will no doubt go down a storm live. Body Heat has already received great radio support, receiving its first plays on BBC Music Introducing Solent and Kerrang! Radio. It also peaked at number 34 in the iTunes Rock Chart. Body Heat can be downloaded here, and streamed here.
The self-proclaimed dirty pop 4-piece wrapped a mini UK headline tour in January. They kicked things off at London’s Old Blue Last, working their way around Birmingham, their hometown Southampton and then finished things up at the Frog And Fiddle in Cheltenham. Faux were joined by Cheltenham three-piece, Polary as support.
2017 saw Faux cut their teeth on the live circuit. They supported punk-rockers Counterfeit. on the UK leg of their tour. They played several different venues up and down the UK, including a packed out show at London’s Underworld. Faux also played Teddy Rocks festival in Dorset, amongst bands such as Twin Atlantic and VANT, as well as releasing their self-titled EP into the world, via Speaking Tongues. It can be streamed here.
