New line up additions to Fatboy Slim and his brand-new weekender, All Back To Minehead have been announced for the Butlin’s event between 18th-21st November.
After teaming up with Eliza Rose for the music video for UK Number one single ‘B.O.T.A’ (Baddest Of Them All) Faboo TV DJ’s and dancers will be onhand celebrating glamour, positivity and diversity and bringing their queer nightlife mayhem to Minehead. Oh My God! It’s The Church, where the party is the new praising, will also be heading to the coastal Somerset resort along with The Beatles Dub Club where guests can experience the fab four as they’ve never heard them before and DJ-producer and social activist ABSOLUTE.
The new additions will join the already bulging line up featuring Fatboy Slim himself, along with world-class acts including Groove Armada (DJ Set), Eats Everything, Idris Elba, Horse Meat Disco, The 2 Bears Rave, Jodie Harsh and loads more at Butlin’s Minehead across the weekend of 18th-21st November. Be prepared for three days of love, dancing and laughter and unusual amounts of fun.
Eat. Sleep. Race. Repeat. Compete against Norman AKA FASTboy Slim and other artists on the bill for a chance to be crowned the first ever ABTM racing champion. Guests will have the opportunity to fly through the straights and whizz around the hairpins on the onsite custom racetrack in time trials to win mega prizes.
There will also be live, large scale artwork from street artist and mural painter, Dan Kitchener. Using freehand spray paints and acrylics, Kitchener’s technique to paint all by eye, never using grids, stencils, guides or projectors has meant his skills are sharp, varied, distinctive and unbelievable to watch.
About the live artwork, Dan Kitchener said “I am super excited to be painting a huge scale mural live at All Back to Minehead. Throughout the duration of the weekend , I’ll be creating a 20ft x 20ft mural on a purpose built wall, so watch the artwork evolve over the course of the festival”
The Saturday night fancy dress theme ‘Sexy or Stupid’ (or both) has also been revealed and additional activities thorughout the weekend like the highly interactive bongo show Bingo Bango, a Rising Soul dance workshop and a 70s disco dancing class have also been added to the timetable plus pool parties, bottomless brunches, silent discos, workshops and more.
