Ella Henderson has announced her first headline show in four years at Hoxton Hall on November 8, the same day that her brand new EP ‘Glorious’ is released via Major Toms/Asylum (pre-order now). Pre-sale tickets will be available at 9am on Wednesday 9 October, with general sale following at 9am on Friday 11 October. Tickets will be available at: http://gigst.rs/EllaH
The announcement comes hot on the heels of ‘Glorious’, Ella’s first solo release in five years and the soulful title track to her new project. Released last month alongside a poignant visualizer, ‘Glorious’ has already notched up over a million streams. Ella has also racked up a further 3 million streams with ‘This Is Real’, a recent collaboration with hit maker Jax Jones which features on his star-studded new album ‘Snacks (Supersize)’.
Bursting on to the scene in 2014 at just 18-years-old, Ella went on to achieve global success with her debut single, ‘Ghost,’ (co-written with Ryan Tedder). The song became the fastest-selling debut single from any British Artist of 2014 and has sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide. That same year, Ella’s debut album, ‘Chapter One,’ (Salaam Remi, Babyface, Steve Mac, TMS) spawned her first Platinum selling album, making her one of only 3 UK artists to break Platinum in 2014.
A revered artist, in 2015 Ella received two prestigious BRIT Award nominations for ‘Best British Female’ and ‘Best British Single’, rounding off the year with a landmark sell-out UK headline tour, which included two shows at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
An unmissable live act, Ella has toured with Take That, Rudimental and James Arthur, as well as releasing hit collaborations with superstar DJs Kygo and Sigma.
